Senior Residential Structure

ARCHITECTURE

Fátima,Portugal

The “place”, suggests the idea of building and inhabiting a route that connects the two streets that are to the south and north of the lot.
The building is assumed with a simple and contemporary language in which the balance between two straight forms is based on a constructive metric that allowed the creation of surrounding courtyards, thus establishing a constant relationship between interior and exterior.
The functional separation is assumed between two distinct zones – services and private/seat, articulated by a central area intended for activities. The chapel is located in the continuity of the route. The architecture is assumed with a simple and linear form, being the interior the reflection of the spirituality that is sought in this type of spaces.
